Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Purpose
The purpose of this cancellation policy is to set a precedent for both you and The TravelingFro Brand, LLC. We are intentional and proactive with our communication and want to ensure that every participant is aware of our policies. Application Fee & Deposit
The application fee and deposit are non-refundable. We are intentional about our efforts for The Travelingfro Teranga Retreat and have constructed a team of individuals who will review every application to ensure that we choose people who are serious about this experience.
Cancellation policy
We are aware that things come up that are out of your control and may prompt you to need to cancel your reservation. Please carefully read out cancellation policy below:
All sales are final. All payments received are non-refundable: full payments, installment payments, deposits, application fee, and late payments. No exceptions.
Reservations made after June 14, 2021 will not be covered under our extenuating circumstances policy, except where the guest or host is currently sick with COVID-19. COVID-19 related circumstances not covered include: transportation disruptions and cancellations; travel advisories and restrictions; health advisories and quarantines; changes to applicable law; and other government mandates—like evacuation orders, border closures, prohibitions on short-term rentals, and shelter-in-place requirements. The cancellation policy will apply as usual.
The only exception to this policy is if The TravelingFro Brands, L.L.C. cancels the Teranga Retreat. Though it is not our intention to do so, however, There are many elements out of our control (i.e. in the event of a natural disaster or border closure) though not our intention to do so, if the retreat is canceled a. An e-mail will be sent to all participants with instruction on how the refund will be provided at our discretion. All participants will be emailed with instructions should this be the case.
It is imperative to be proactive and purchase travel and flight insurance to cover your trip should a circumstance arise resulting in damage, health issues, a cancellation or any other unforeseen circumstance. We have outlined resources on how to do so in the FAQs.
Delinquencies
There is a five (5) day grace period and any payment received after said day will incur a $50.00 late payment fee. The TravelingFro Brand, LLC reserves the right to cancel a reservation if the reservation is two payments delinquent. It is the responsibility of the participant to make arrangements ahead of time should their reservation fall delinquent.
Chargebacks
If we receive any chargeback notifications from your bank, it will prompt an immediate cancellation of your reservation and participation in The TravelingFro Teranga Retreat and The TravelingFro Brand, LLC. Receipt confirmation of all travel policies & agreement signatures and any other documentation will be provided to the banking institution as confirmation of payment application according to all agreed upon terms.

Travel Insurance
It is a requirement that you have adequate and appropriate coverage for your participation in the Teranga Retreat. It is your responsibility to ensure that the insurance coverage you purchase is suitable and adequate for your particular needs. There are many travel insurance agencies, please do your research and find one that works best for you. We have outlined resources on how to do so in the FAQs.
